Elizabeth Gillies

Gillies started her acting career at twelve by participating in local casting calls. The path to becoming an actress started at an early age as she began attending local casting calls for open roles. Gillies had a part in recurring roles as a character in The Black Donnellys in three episodes. She's stated that she was never allowed to watch the finished show in its entirety because her parents believed it was not suitable for her in the moment. In the show, she played minor roles The Clique as well as Harold as well as Locker 514. She was cast in the summer of 2008, as Lucy, alongside Ariana Grande, who was her co-star in Victorious as part of Jason Robert Brown's musical 13. After that, 13 made the move to Broadway, which made it the only Broadway production with the entire cast and orchestra comprised of teens. She received the two big number "Opportunity" along with "It Doesn't Make Sense" in addition to smaller roles in songs such as the title song, "Hey Kendra" and "Getting Ready".
