Sierra Sierra Megan MeganGale was 18 when she took part in a modeling competition at the age of 18 in Perth. After modelling for a few years, Gale became famous in 1999, after being cast in an advertising campaign by Omnitel which is now Vodafone Italy. She appeared in their advertising until. In 2003 in 2003, the Australian Tourist Commission retained her as their 'face of Australia within Italy.' Gale has graced the covers of Australian Marie Claire, Grazia, Gioia, Italian and Australian GQ, Italian Maxim, Australian InStyle and featured in the editorial pages of Australian Cosmopolitan as well as Vogue Italia. Gale has worked for Italian designers such as Gianfranco Fere, Genny Gai Mattiolo, and Gianfranco Fere. Gai Mattiolo, and at the fashion shows of Mariella Burani Angelo Marani, and Milan Fashion Week. Gale is also an avid huge fan of many Australian fashion designers, including Colette Dinnigan Kirrily johnston, Lisa Ho and Alex Perry. In 2006, she was the fashion commentator for the Australian television awards, known as the Logies. Gale declared in January 2008 that she was stepping down from modeling on runways after fifteen prosperous years. Then, a couple of weeks later on, during the unveiling of the David Jones winter collection in Sydney, Gale walked for her last time on the catwalk. The final dress she wore was the Wonder Woman outfit she was to wear in the unreleased motion picture Justice League of America. Gale closed Alex Perry 2011 Melbourne Fashion Festival in March 2011. Gale celebrated her 10th anniversary in August 2011, which was the longest-running fashion contract in Australia as well as the David Jones department store. Gale was appointed ambassador for L'Oreal Paris the same month. She teamed up with Beyonce Jennifer Lopez Gwen Stefani. Gale was the main character in a L'Oreal Shampoo commercial that aired across Australia, New Zealand, and Italy.
